- On the Disney Dining Plan, everyone aged 3 or older gets 1 table-service, 1 quick-service and 1 snack credit for each night of the stay.
- On the Quick-Service Dining Plan, it's 2 quick-service credits and 1 snack credit a night.
- Credits are shared by the whole party and can be used on any day. Unused credits expire at midnight on the day you check out.
Credits and prices for each plan
Credits are counted per person per night, so a 5-night stay gives each person 5 of each credit. Prices are per person per night, before tax.

Who gets credits
- Ages 10 and up count as adults and order from the adult menu.
- Ages 3–9 get the same number of credits and order from the kids' menu where there is one.
- Under 3 don't need credits and aren't charged for the plan.
- Everyone in the room aged 3 or older must be on the same plan.
How credits are used
- Table service: one credit a person covers an entrée, a dessert at lunch and dinner, and a drink. Some restaurants and dinner shows take 2 credits a person; see two-credit restaurants.
- Quick service: one credit covers an entrée and a drink at a counter-service restaurant.
- Snack: one credit covers one item marked with the dining plan symbol, such as a pretzel, an ice cream bar or a coffee. It covers the item whatever it costs, so pricier snacks get more from it.
- Guests 21 and older can choose an alcoholic drink with a table-service or quick-service meal where the restaurant serves it.
Credits are pooled. If one person skips a meal, someone else can use that credit later in the trip, so you can use 3 table-service credits one day and none the next.
Is the dining plan worth it?
It depends on where you eat. Dining plan guides in 2026 put the typical value of a credit at about $60.00 for a table-service meal, $15.00 for a quick-service meal and $6.50 for a snack. Here's how that compares with the adult price for one night:
| Plan | Adult price a night | Typical value of a night's credits | Shortfall |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney Dining Plan (2026) | $98.59 | $81.50 1 × $60.00 + 1 × $15.00 + 1 × $6.50 | $17.09 |
| Disney Dining Plan (2027) | $99.87 | $81.50 1 × $60.00 + 1 × $15.00 + 1 × $6.50 | $18.37 |
| Quick-Service Dining Plan (2026) | $60.47 | $36.50 2 × $15.00 + 1 × $6.50 | $23.97 |
| Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan (2027) | $163.01 | $141.50 2 × $60.00 + 1 × $15.00 + 1 × $6.50 | $21.51 |
At typical prices, each plan costs more than the food it covers. You make up the difference by choosing where to use each credit:
- Use table-service credits at character meals and buffets, where an adult meal often costs well over $60.00.
- Use snack credits on items that cost more than $6.50, not on bottled water.
- Plan every credit before the trip. A credit left at check-out is money lost.
When the plan comes free with a room deal, every credit you use is a saving, and the same choices decide how much you save.
